omfg i'm such a noob, i was suppose to send a reply button but because of report button so close i clciked it inseatd and typed in "yes i do" with out looking at hwat i'm doing
You should put up a tutorial--I'd love to learn how you use markers. I have done marker art, but I suck at it, so I am just sticking with colored pensils (just until I learn water color)
Anyways, even if you dun make a tutorial, could you explain your technique a bit? The way you do your work is so crisp and fresh! I looked at it and gasped "That's what I wanna do!"
i'll make a tutorial when i have more time, the basic idea of using copic is to be gentle and fast. if you are planing on shading in a soft tone such as skin, u would definitly want to shade light color first and dont wait for it do dry so u could apply a differnt tone so that they would mix well together. copic markers dont show repeated path lines when its wet, if u want it to look more anime like, then u would want to wait for it to dry first.
what kind of tutorial u would liek to see? coloring hair? coloring face? coloring eyes?
yes that becomes a problem, when it comes to large area i avoid shading with markers, i usually use water color paint for large facial area. one of my work "blue rose", the size of that face was big and i knew it would dry fast so i used water color to paint the baise skin tone and used markers to do the darker tone shading where the shadows are.
acutaly i dont know as long as it looks thick and good qaulity to me i'd grab and use it lol. i usually grab papers from my art teacher, i think its water color paper.
dotn know if i replied to u or replied to my sle, anyways i use any form of paper that is thick (compare to computer paper) and good qaulity like water color paper.
